In the video, ground facilities are hit, with flames and thick smoke rising into the night sky.
Trump did not provide any textual explanation for the video, but later retweeted it himself with a post from another user. The post reads: "Breaking News: Massive strikes against Iran."
New threat made against Greenland
In addition, before holding a bilateral meeting with Turkish President Erdogan in Ankara, Turkey on the 7th, Trump once again claimed that Greenland "should be under US control" and not Denmark.
When answering related questions from reporters, he said, "Greenland is useless to Denmark, and Denmark hasn't really spent money to help Greenland," but that Greenland is very important to the United States.
Greenland is an autonomous territory of Denmark. Since Trump's return to the White House in 2025, he has repeatedly threatened to acquire Greenland, even stating he does not rule out the use of force, causing tensions between the US and Denmark as well as more European allies.
