The Netherlands and Ukraine have signed an agreement for extensive cooperation in the field of drone production.

Dutch Prime Minister Mark Rutte wrote on social media platform X on the 7th: “During the NATO summit, Ukrainian President Zelensky and I signed a drone agreement, laying the foundation for extensive structural cooperation between Ukraine and the Netherlands in joint drone production.”

He pointed out that this agreement will enable the two countries to exchange innovations and jointly expand drone production capacity.

In addition, Ukrainian President Zelensky announced on social media on the 7th that agreements on drone cooperation have already been signed with the Netherlands, Denmark, and Estonia, bringing the total number of such agreements to nine.

He said the agreement with Denmark will expand bilateral cooperation in defense production, technology exchanges, and transparency in weapon exports. Denmark is also the first country to propose joint production of weapons in Ukraine, and will therefore gain access to Ukrainian weapons that have been tested in actual combat.
