(Bandar Seri Begawan, 20th) In light of the current situation in Iran, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Brunei has announced the temporary closure of its embassy in Tehran, Iran.
According to a statement from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the embassy has ceased local operations and will continue to operate remotely from Brunei until further notice.
The statement noted that there are currently no registered Brunei nationals in Iran, and all embassy staff have been safely evacuated from Tehran.
