(Kuala Lumpur, 9th) The Ministry of Education stated that 96,013 Form Six students, including both new and existing students, have received or will receive the 2026 School Opening Aid (BAP), with the total allocation reaching RM14.4 million.
The Ministry announced that a total of 52,810 new Form Six students from 616 Form Six classes nationwide will be given RM150 in school opening aid between June 28 and July 27.
“The Ministry of Education is continuing to distribute the school opening aid to all Form Six students who registered on June 8. This is a continuation of the government’s initiative, approved last year, to extend the aid to Form Six students.”
The statement highlighted that the initiative to extend the school opening aid to Form Six students since last year reflects the MADANI government’s caring governance philosophy. It aims to ease the financial burden on parents and guardians in preparing school supplies for their children, and demonstrates the government’s unwavering commitment to strengthening Form Six education development.
