Police have confirmed that Namewee was released on police bail on Thursday.
Kuala Lumpur Chief of Police, Datuk Fadil, stated that on Thursday, police submitted the investigation report to the Deputy Public Prosecutor's Office for review.
He pointed out that Namewee was released on Thursday under police bail, valid until the 26th of this month, pending the completion of the deceased's autopsy report.
In a statement on Thursday, he explained that once the Forensic Department submits the complete autopsy report, the investigation file will once again be presented to the Kuala Lumpur Deputy Public Prosecutor's Office for further instructions.
