(Miri, 27th) The Yuanshi Point Group under the Welfare Committee of the Miri Buddhist Lay Association will be holding a free one-day Yuanshi Point Basics Public Course on August 31, aiming to promote the concept of drug-free family healthcare.
The course will take place from 9am to 6pm at the Miri Yuanshi Point Promotion Centre (Lot 1522, Jln Kampung Luak 3, Jln Lealia, Miri Sarawak), with lessons delivered by a team of experienced instructors from Singapore, Klang, and Muar, strictly aligned with the technical standards of the Taiwan Yuanshi Point Foundation. The course will cover the Yuanshi Point drug-free healthcare system, key point accurate massage techniques, warm compresses and scientifically balanced thermal diet programs. There will also be on-site practical training, with lunch and ginger tea provided, enabling even complete beginners to master the essentials of “gentle massage,” integrating non-invasive care concepts into daily family health routines.
Enrollment for the course is now open with limited slots available. After registration, internal screening will be conducted, with priority given to applicants with basic understanding of Yuanshi Point or those willing to participate in health promotion; successful applicants will be notified within a week.
To ensure active participation and prevent resource wastage, organizers will collect an application fee of RM30 in advance, which will be fully refunded for students who attend the entire course; in case of absences, this fee will be used to offset meals and venue costs. Application deadline is August 25.
For further enquiries, please contact Huang Xinren (019-8847883), Ms Lai (0116-5671313), Huang Zijie (016-8887275). The registration deadline is August 25. Online registration is also available – registration form URL: https://forms.gle/tdm4bQXtyaDcy4pf8.
The Yuanshi Point Basics Workshop is completely tuition-free. Upon completion, students may participate in free follow-up technical update courses and will have the opportunity to join the community volunteer team to transform their new skills into public health service. Voluntary donations for venue maintenance and public service promotion are also accepted on-site.
“Health is not about waiting passively, but confidently responding after proactive learning.” The organizers welcome all members of the public who wish to master simple and easy self-care methods for their families to sign up and participate.
