Qingtiangang in Taiwan's Yangmingshan National Park is a well-known tourist attraction. Unexpectedly, in the early hours of the 15th, a young couple was caught having sex in the dark, and their act was fully captured by surveillance cameras installed by the Yangmingshan Park Administration, with the entire scene broadcast live on YouTube.
The Shilin Branch of Taipei City Police have already identified the male suspect’s name and car number, and have summoned him for questioning. The case is being investigated as a public indecency offense.
Currently, the Yangmingshan National Park Administration has taken down the video, and the police are also urging internet users who may have clipped the footage not to re-upload or share it online, to avoid breaking the law.
Police stated that at around 11 PM on the 14th, the couple appeared sitting side by side on a wooden bench at Qingtiangang, chatting. Around 1 AM, their emotions and physical interaction escalated, with the woman kneeling on the picnic table, and the man embracing her from behind, performing explicit acts. After several minutes of intermittent entanglement by the table, they quickly packed up and left the scene.
Because it was dark, both parties at times turned on their flashlights. The entire process of their encounter at the edge of the table was recorded by the camera and lasted about five minutes; after finishing at around 12:20 AM, they left about two minutes later. They were apparently unaware that they had been filmed by the YouTube channel “阳明山国家公园管理处INFO”’s “Qingtiangang Grassland Real-time Footage.”
This live footage attracted many internet users to replay it, causing a surge in viewership and sparking extensive discussion on social media platforms. Some members of the public even visited the scene from the early morning of the 15th, mimicking the couple’s poses as a joke.
