At 11:38 PM on the night of the 26th, a fire broke out at a warehouse in Tin Shui Wai, Yuen Long, Hong Kong. Towering flames erupted and thick smoke billowed into the sky, with multiple explosions heard at the scene, frightening nearby residents. About 190 people fled overnight, and firefighters quickly arrived at the scene and began dousing the fire.

According to reports, the fire spread rapidly at the scene, with the warehouse engulfed in flames and smoke drifting everywhere. Several explosions were heard from within the warehouse during the fire. Firefighters deployed multiple hoses to extinguish the blaze and established a safety perimeter to prevent the fire from spreading to nearby buildings. They also entered the site to search for anyone who might be trapped.

Police officers responded to the scene to maintain order and direct traffic in the surrounding area. As of the early hours, the fire was still being fought, with no reports of casualties yet. The cause of the fire is under further investigation.

By around 4:00 AM on the 27th, the Fire Services Department issued an all-clear notice for the fire, which was mostly extinguished by then. Three smoke-diving teams and three hoses were deployed during the operation. The fire-affected area measured approximately 20 meters by 30 meters. It is understood that the warehouse in question served as a logistics company's vehicle maintenance center. It's possible that gas cylinders exploded during the fire, with fragments flying outside the warehouse, but fortunately, no passersby were hit.
