He Tianzi Returns to Singapore to Handle 'Housing Matters', Plans to Settle in Korea and Launch onto the World Stage

Singaporean artist and singer-songwriter He Tianzi bravely ventured into the Korean music industry in August 2022. In his first year, he focused on his studies; in the second year, he obtained a Korean work permit and produced the debut song "Lambo" for Mexican rookie boy band “By The Way” (BTW), achieving notable success. In the third year, he signed with the music publishing company Warner Chappell Music Korea, and his music creation career has been steadily advancing.
41-year-old He Tianzi attended fellow artist Chen Xi’s “Lost To Be Found” mini art exhibition last week (June 24) and was interviewed by Lianhe Zaobao. He said that Chen Xi is close with his own younger brother, so the three of them have become good friends in private. This return to Singapore only lasted a few days; aside from catching up with friends, he also took the opportunity to handle matters related to his three-room HDB flat in Redhill, preparing to rent out the entire unit.

He Tianzi revealed: “I bought the flat from my grandmother when I was 35. Previously, only one room was rented out, but since I’ve decided to settle down in Korea — and with the need to pay for housing and studio rent over there — I plan to rent out the whole flat.” He further shared that his Singapore HDB loan, combined with living expenses in Korea, costs him about 3,000 Singapore dollars (9,949 ringgit) per month.
