The popular Taiwanese boy band Energy has a female fan, Xiaofang, who became bedridden 18 years ago due to illness. After learning about Xiaofang’s situation, Energy members Adi, Shu-Wei, and Niu Nai visited her at the care facility and even sang live for her—performing 'A Certain Year, A Certain Month, A Certain Day' and 'Love Me One More Day.'
Adi said to Xiaofang: 'Thank you for still remembering us and liking our songs. I’m very happy to see you today.'
Shu-Wei held Xiaofang’s hand, his eyes welling with tears as he told her, 'You’re amazing, keep fighting.' Niu Nai choked up with tears and told Xiaofang: 'I never thought that with our reunion, we could bring you some happiness and hope. With your support, we’ll keep on going.'
Xiaofang, although bedridden and unable to speak or move, can communicate through an eye-tracking system. After learning that Energy’s song 'Friday Night' won the Song of the Year award at the Golden Melody Awards on June 28, she used the eye-tracking system to type, 'Energy is awesome!' to congratulate her idols.
