(Bandar Seri Begawan, 21st) The International School Brunei (ISB) graduating class of 2026 has achieved excellent results in the International Baccalaureate (IB) Diploma Programme examinations, with multiple students scoring 42 out of a possible 45 points, showcasing the cohort's exceptional academic performance.
Among this year’s graduating students, 46.5% scored 34 points or above, with an overall average of 33 points — 10% higher than the global average. At the same time, ISB’s IB pass rate this year reached 98%, significantly higher than the global pass rate of 82.61%.
In addition, around 10% of students achieved 40 points or above, equivalent to A*AA or higher at the UK A Level examinations.
The International Baccalaureate Diploma Programme is a two-year course for students aged 16 to 18, widely recognized by universities and employers around the world. It focuses on developing critical thinking, interdisciplinary learning, and cross-cultural understanding, laying the foundation for students to enter top universities globally. ISB has offered the IB Diploma Programme since 2001.

On the university admissions front, all students from this cohort who applied for university entry in 2026 have received admission offers, with 34% securing final university places from the world’s top 50 universities and 59% from the world’s top 250 universities.
At the same time, 88% of students will be attending their first-choice universities. As of now, the total value of scholarships received by this cohort has surpassed BND 1 million, reflecting the recognition of students' academic achievements by universities and institutions.
