(Seremban, 21st) In commemoration of the birthday of Zhongtan Marshal Li Fu Nezha Third Prince on the seventh day of the seventh lunar month in the Year of the Dragon, Teng Yun Temple recently held a grand celebration. Chairman Lee Yong Zhen led the board of directors, members, advisers, chief ritual sponsors, Taoist priests, and local devotees in sincerely participating in the sacrificial ceremony, respectfully wishing Zhongtan Marshal a happy birthday and eternal glory.
The celebration was successfully held on the 18th (sixth day of the seventh lunar month, Tuesday). That night, starting at 11 pm (Zi hour), the deities were respectfully invited to descend, and the Jade Emperor and the Three Officials and Five Emperors were welcomed to collectively celebrate Zhongtan Marshal's birthday. The temple was filled with incense, and the devotees prayed devoutly for good weather, national prosperity, public peace, and local safety.
On the following day, the 19th (seventh day of the seventh lunar month, Wednesday) at 5 pm (You hour), the temple held a reward ceremony for the Five Camps' military generals, along with a charity ritual. Offerings were made to "Good Brothers," Lord Lao Da Gong, and invisible beings, reflecting the traditional folk belief of honoring ancestors, showing compassion, and universal charity.
At 7 pm (Xu hour) on the same day, the deities were once again respectfully invited to descend, followed by a ceremony to respectfully bid farewell to the Jade Emperor and the Three Officials and Five Emperors, bringing the series of Zhongtan Marshal's birthday celebrations to a perfect conclusion.
