(Bandar Seri Begawan, 22nd) The Ministry of Education yesterday announced through the Examinations Department the results of the Brunei-Cambridge GCE A Level and AS Level examinations for May/June 2025.
According to statistics from the Ministry of Education, there were a total of 109 candidates for the Brunei-Cambridge GCE A Level examination in May/June 2025, including 21 school candidates and 88 private candidates.
Nationwide, 22 candidates (accounting for 20.18%) obtained at least three A Levels or above, 44 candidates (accounting for 40.37%) obtained at least two A Levels or above, and a total of 82 candidates (accounting for 75.23%) obtained at least one A Level or above.
At the school level, a total of three candidates (14.29%) obtained at least three "A" grades or above, 11 candidates (52.38%) obtained at least two "A" grades or above, and a total of 18 candidates (85.71%) obtained at least one "A" grade or above.
Meanwhile, in the Brunei-Cambridge GCE "AS" Level examination, a total of 1,055 candidates participated in the BC-GCE "AS" Level examination held in May/June 2025. Of these, 1,043 were school candidates and 12 were private candidates.
In the national examination, 557 candidates (52.80%) obtained at least three "AS" grades or above; 854 candidates (80.95%) obtained at least two "AS" grades or above; and a total of 1,020 candidates (96.68%) obtained at least one "AS" grade or above.
In the school examination, 554 candidates (53.12%) obtained at least three "AS" grades or above; 847 candidates (81.21%) obtained at least two "AS" grades or above; and a total of 1,012 candidates (97.03%) obtained at least one "AS" grade or above.
Students who have taken the examination may now proceed to their respective schools to collect their transcripts.
Private candidates may collect their transcripts at the Ministry of Education Block C, 1st floor, One-Stop Centre, Examinations Department counter during office hours.
For candidates who wish to participate in the Brunei Cambridge GCE 'A' and 'AS' Level examinations in October/November 2025, the registration deadline is August 30.
