15-year-old girl Ye Xingyuan took her last journey on Sunday (January 5) accompanied by family and friends. However, her family is still awaiting justice, hoping that the killer of their daughter receives the deserved punishment.

The funeral ceremony began at 9:00 a.m. with chanting and a farewell ritual, and around 9:30 a.m., Xingyuan's sister, carrying the urn, boarded the hearse from Jing'an Lin Memorial Park, heading towards Tianning Columbarium.

Xingyuan's parents attended the funeral ceremony, along with relatives and friends who came to bid her farewell, making the atmosphere sorrowful.

Mourners held white roses and chrysanthemums as they followed the hearse to bid farewell to Ye Xingyuan.

Ye Xingyuan left home on the afternoon of the 19th last month, claiming to practice lion dancing, and then lost contact with her family.

According to her family, she did not take her ID card and passport that day, so they do not believe she ran away from home.

A female body was found at the RTB Sungai Changgang (SG. Changgang) in Banting, Selangor, on the 28th of last month. Police suspect the case is related to Ye Xingyuan's disappearance and are conducting DNA analysis on the body.

In subsequent actions, police arrested three suspects aged 16, 20, and 51, including the missing girl's boyfriend and his family. The three have been further remanded for five days to assist in the investigation.
