Police Force Conducts Live-Fire Training, Urges Public to Stay Away from Exercise Area

(Bandar Seri Begawan, 8th) The Royal Brunei Police Force informs the public that live-fire shooting training will be conducted for two consecutive days on the 9th (Tuesday) and 10th (Wednesday) of this month at the Royal Brunei Police Shooting Range, Simpang 338, Jalan Muara, Kampong Sungai Akar.
During the training period, a safety training will take place from 7:30am to 12:30pm on the 9th, while live-fire shooting exercises will be conducted from 7:45am to 2:00pm.
On the 10th, live-fire shooting exercises will take place from 7:45am to 2:00pm.
Additionally, on the 18th (Thursday) of this month, a safety training will be conducted at the Muara Naval Base from 7:30am to 12:30pm.
In view of this, the Royal Brunei Police Force reminds the public that there is no cause for alarm during the shooting drills and advises everyone to avoid entering the training grounds. As live ammunition and explosives will be used during training, this measure is to ensure safety and prevent accidents.
