(Jakarta, 25th) During his visit to Indonesia, Chinese Premier Li Qiang emphasized that China and India should strengthen solidarity and cooperation to promote all parties to practice true multilateralism.
Li Qiang arrived at Jakarta Halim International Airport on the afternoon of the 24th by chartered plane. He was welcomed at the airport by Indonesia’s Minister of Investment and Downstream Industry Luhut Binsar Pandjaitan and Chinese Ambassador to Indonesia Wang Lutong.
Li Qiang will officially visit Indonesia from May 24th to 26th, and then attend the ASEAN-China-GCC Summit in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, from May 26th to 28th.

Li Qiang stated that the international situation is entwined with turmoil, unilateralism and protectionism are on the rise, and bullying actions are increasing. He called for adhering to seeking common ground while reserving differences and peaceful coexistence, resolving differences through consultation, promoting win-win cooperation, and achieving shared development and prosperity.
Prabowo described the relationship between Indonesia and China as crucial for regional stability and regards China as an important partner in developing industry and technology.
Prabowo praised China for playing a role in safeguarding the interests of developing countries and opposing imperialism and colonialism.
