(Miri, 22nd) Datuk Sebastian Ting's political secretary, Chia Kah Furng, stated that children with cancer are brave warriors, while the general public, volunteers, and supporters are their strongest support.
He called on all sectors of society to continue to extend their helping hands and work hand in hand with the Sarawak Children's Cancer Association to provide more support to these children and their families, allowing them to feel the care and warmth of society.
Chia Kah Furng made these remarks while speaking at the gratitude luncheon organized by the Miri branch of the Sarawak Children's Cancer Association on behalf of Chen Chao Yao, who was unable to attend due to official duties.
"Love and Hope" are the pillars of society. He said this gratitude luncheon is not only an expression of gratitude to all volunteers and supporters but also a reminder that the love and hope from society can change the destinies of countless children and families.
