She said, starting from the participation in the Malaysia Book of Records for 'The Most Ethnic Associations Participating in a Parade,' there were successively held activities such as the Multicultural Dance Inter-school Competition, 'Walk with Love' Charity Night, cultural dance performances, opening ceremony, indigenous art performances, singing competitions, and beauty contests, fully showcasing the charm of multiculturalism.

She pointed out that every event aims to promote multiculturalism and ethnic unity, while providing a platform for culture, education, creativity, and community exchange.

Lim Pao Ching revealed that following the enthusiastic response to the first 3R competition, the event was held again this year with approval and support from the Miri District Education Office of the Ministry of Education.

She said that this competition was not just a fashion show but also an educational platform that cultivates students' environmental awareness from an early age through the concept of 'Reduce, Reuse, Recycle' (3R).

'We encourage students to use their creativity to transform discarded and recyclable materials into eco-friendly clothing, so that everyone understands that environmental protection can start from small creative ideas in our daily lives.'

She stated that the competition also encouraged the integration of Sarawak's diverse ethnic and cultural elements, reflecting the spirit of 'diversity and inclusion,' while promoting exchange and learning among students.

She emphasized that regardless of the results, the courage and innovative spirit of the participating students are commendable, and she thanked schools, teachers, parents, judges, and sponsors for their support, which ensured the success of the event.
