Turkish President to Visit Malaysia to Meet Prime Minister; Zainul: Rebuilding Gaza is a Key Topic

Datuk Seri Zainul Abidin, the Prime Minister's senior political secretary, stated that the restoration and rebuilding of Gaza will be one of the main topics of discussion when Turkish President Erdogan visits Malaysia next week to meet with Prime Minister Datuk Seri Anwar.

He revealed that this is because both leaders represent the Islamic world view and openly speak out on issues, including the oppression of the Palestinian people.

“I believe this is a very important moment; the American President has announced a plan (to take over the Gaza Strip), but in my view, this plan makes no sense at all.

“I am confident that the meeting of these two important leaders, who are old friends, will have a very significant impact on the international community's efforts to successfully find a way to rebuild Gaza.”

He said this during a press conference after representing the Prime Minister to officiate the launch of the “Rumah Ibu Program” today.

The Rumah Ibu Program is a new affordable housing initiative launched by the private sector with government support, offering 8 different types of units, with prices ranging from RM75,000 to RM278,000.

The program aims to provide the public with opportunities to own affordable houses and offer tailored support services to residents.
