(Bandar Seri Begawan, 2nd) Bank Islam Brunei Darussalam (BIBD) continues to advance its 'Teduh Caring Project', handing over a newly completed house in Kampong Sabun, Kota Batu, Brunei-Muara District.
This achievement reflects BIBD’s ongoing commitment to providing beneficial support to the community and its pledge to enhance the well-being of underprivileged families through sustainable social development.
The handover ceremony was officiated by Minister of Social Policy and Manpower Coordination cum Minister of Home Affairs and BIBD Group Chairman, Dato Aminuddin. The home was handed over to beneficiary Norfaza.
BIBD Acting Managing Director and CEO, Mohd Yusri, also attended the ceremony. BIBD Board members, members of the BIBD Shariah Advisory Committee, BIBD management and staff, as well as representatives from government agencies and private sector organizations, also attended the event.
This latest initiative demonstrates BIBD’s ongoing dedication to supporting national priorities through impactful and sustainable Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) initiatives.
The Teduh project remains the bank’s key platform dedicated to improving the living standards of local communities and enhancing their socio-economic resilience.
Through the collaborative efforts of all stakeholders, the house rebuilding project was completed on June 29, 2026.

The project is also supported by donations from BIBD staff, corporate organizations, and businesses, who are united in their efforts to improve community welfare and promote sustainable social development.
