(Bandar Seri Begawan, 2nd) The Sultan Foundation (YSHHB) celebrated Prince Abdul Malik's 43rd birthday yesterday.
The Minister at the Prime Minister’s Office and Chairman of the YSHHB Board of Trustees, Prince Abdul Malik, attended the event.
Those present included the Minister of National Security Coordination, Minister at the Prime Minister’s Office and Second Minister of Defence, Pehin Halbi; YSHHB board member and Second Minister of Foreign Affairs, Dato Erywan.
Also present was YSHHB Board of Trustees Chairperson and Minister of Education, Datin Romaizah.
During the ceremony, Prince Abdul Malik officiated the cake cutting and received a special gift box presented by YSHHB.
Subsequently, Prince Abdul Malik handed over donations from YSHHB totaling 74,000 yuan. The first donation was presented to the Ministry of Health’s Patient Assistance Charity Fund (TABP), an annual grant of 50,000 yuan starting from 2026, aimed at supporting TABP in assisting underprivileged patients to access healthcare and related welfare aid, including medical equipment, medical consumables, special formula milk, and other basic necessities based on individual case assessments.
The second donation of 24,000 yuan was given to An-Nur Harapan, an institution providing educational services, intervention, and skills development for children and individuals with special needs, with the aim of helping them develop learning abilities, personal potential, and physical and mental well-being.
