(Miri, 24th) The Miri City Council announced that in January 2025, there were a total of 921 visitors who climbed to the rooftop of the City Council building to enjoy the magnificent panoramic view of Miri City.
Miri Mayor Adam Yii Siew Sang encouraged more citizens to experience this unique observation platform, whether for group tours, special events, or personal leisure, to appreciate the city's charm during a press conference held after the monthly City Council meeting at the 9th-floor conference room of the City Council Building.
The rooftop observation area is open every day from 5 PM to 7 PM, including public holidays, allowing citizens and tourists to enjoy the beautiful sunset and the urban landscape of Miri in the evening.
Additionally, the Miri City Council also announced that the third “Meet the People” session will be held on March 7th, 2025 (Friday), from 9 AM to 10 AM at Tamu Morsjaya Baharu. Citizens are encouraged to participate, communicate face-to-face with City Council representatives, and share their opinions and suggestions to jointly promote the development of Miri city.
The City Council urges citizens to use this platform to express their concerns, and it will also listen to the voices of the people, striving to create a more livable Miri City.
