(Bandar Seri Begawan, 26th) The National Day Supreme Committee held the grand national flag lowering ceremony yesterday.
This also signifies the end of the 42nd National Day celebrations. The flag lowering ceremony took place yesterday at Sultan Foundation Park.
The guest of honor presiding over the ceremony was Deputy Minister of Religious Affairs Pengiran Dato Mohd Tashim, who is also the Joint Vice Chairman of the Supreme Committee for Brunei's 42nd National Day in 2026.
The Royal Brunei Navy marched in, accompanied by the Royal Brunei Police Band, and lowered the grand national flag.
All attendees sang the national anthem together. Afterwards, the grand national flag was slowly lowered and handed over to the guest of honor, officially marking the end of the lowering ceremony.
Also present at the ceremony were members of Parliament, permanent secretaries, deputy permanent secretaries, and members of the National Day Supreme Committee.
