The Ministry of Health of the Democratic Republic of Congo released data showing that the cumulative number of deaths from this Ebola outbreak has exceeded 500.
The country's Ministry of Health released a report on the 5th, stating that as of July 4, there have been a total of 1,561 confirmed cases, including 506 deaths.
In addition, a total of 254 patients have recovered, while 628 confirmed patients are still in isolation or hospitalized.
The report shows that the number of new confirmed cases each week continues to rise, indicating that community transmission is still ongoing.
