On the 30th, countries along the Pacific coast lifted or downgraded their tsunami warnings, and millions of evacuated residents were allowed to return home. The Emergency Situations Department of Kamchatka Krai has also announced the lifting of the tsunami warning for the Kamchatka Peninsula.

The Japan Meteorological Agency lifted tsunami advisories for 28 regions on the morning of the 31st, but some coastal areas on the Pacific side are still being maintained.

In the United States, Hawaii Emergency Management Agency posted on social media the evening of the 29th local time that the Pacific Tsunami Warning Center had downgraded the tsunami warning level for Hawaii to a tsunami advisory.
