Russian Ambassador to Sweden, Belyaev, said on the 2nd that Russia has issued a demarche to the Swedish Ministry of Foreign Affairs regarding the attack on its embassy in Sweden.
In an interview with Russian media, he said that Russia expects the Swedish government to publish the investigation results as soon as possible.
He stated that since May 2024, there have been more than 25 attacks on the Russian Embassy in Sweden, but Russia has yet to see any investigation results released by the Swedish government.
Belyaev said: “Today is the first time we have seen the drone itself. It is clearly homemade, composed of 3D printed parts.”
On the 2nd, the Russian Embassy in Sweden posted on social media, saying that at about 2 a.m. local time, a quadcopter drone dropped a container filled with red paint into the embassy compound. Another drone, carrying a mock improvised explosive device, crashed in an area close to the main embassy building.
