American artificial intelligence company OpenAI experienced a large-scale outage on the morning of the 16th, affecting global users' access to services such as ChatGPT and Sora.
This is the second time this month that ChatGPT has suffered a global outage.
According to monitoring site Downdetector, around 9 a.m. Malaysia time on the 16th, the number of error reports regarding OpenAI surged, with users in the U.S., U.K., Japan, and other regions reporting issues.
Data indicates that about 88% of ChatGPT users complained they could not log in, or content could not be generated.
OpenAI stated that the issue has been identified, and errors have occurred in ChatGPT's record mode, Sora, and Codex. The company is working hard to resolve the problems.
