Anti-Corruption Bureau Organizes Anti-Corruption Short Video Competition

(Bandar Seri Begawan, 24th) The Brunei Anti-Corruption Bureau (BMR) is currently organizing an anti-corruption short video competition, divided into three categories: Primary School Group, Secondary School Group, and Youth Group (ages 18 to 35).
The theme for the Primary and Secondary School Groups is "Pure Values, Our Culture", while the Youth Group's theme is "Integrity Begins With Me". Submitted entries must use the theme as the ending soundtrack.
The competition is open to Bruneian citizens, permanent residents, and green smart card holders of Brunei and accepts both individual and group participation.
Each participant is allowed to submit only one entry, which must include audio, be in MP4 format, with a maximum resolution of 1080 pixels (1920 x 1080). In addition, participants must submit the source code file for potential subsequent use by the Anti-Corruption Bureau. The video must not exceed three minutes in length.
Participants are required to submit a complete production report (team production/editing).

Officials, employees of the Brunei Anti-Corruption Bureau, and their immediate family members are not permitted to participate in this competition.
Each video will be judged by a panel of professionals based on originality, effectiveness of information delivery, creativity, and quality.
The decision of the judging panel is final; no appeals or objections will be entertained.
Participants are free to create various types of videos, such as skits, animations, dramas, comedies, and documentaries, but must ensure all music used is royalty-free.
The bureau will not be held liable for any claims arising from copyright infringement.

All submitted entries will become the property of the bureau, which reserves the right to broadcast or publish them without permission and without paying any royalties to the video creators.
Participants may produce videos in Malay or English, but must provide subtitles or translations for the language used in the video.
Submitted videos must comply with the Malay Islamic Monarchy (MIB) code of conduct and must not disparage, defame, or insult any party.
The deadline for submission is January 31, 2026, at 12 noon.
