(Bandar Seri Begawan, 17th) The Malaysian Expatriates Association in Brunei, in collaboration with Radisson Hotel, organized a blood donation event yesterday. The event attracted approximately 150 enthusiastic participants and successfully collected 127 pints of blood, demonstrating the enthusiasm and spirit of unity across various sectors of society.
This event was also organized in conjunction with World Blood Donor Day.
Malaysia's High Commissioner to Brunei, Datuk Mohamadaini Adnan, and Canada's High Commissioner to Brunei, Ambra Dickie, both participated in the blood donation event. Also present were the President of the Malaysian Expatriates Association in Brunei, Azlan, and its committee members.
The purpose of organizing this blood donation event is to give back to society and to increase the blood stock at the Blood Donation Center of Bandar Seri Begawan Central Hospital.
