3月28日，中国财政部经济建设司、中国住房和城乡建设部村镇建设司联合发布《2022年传统村落集中连片保护利用示范县（市、区）名单》进行公示，福州市永泰县榜上有名。
据悉，此次中国共有40个县（市、区）上榜，其中福建占了两席，分别是福州市永泰县和龙岩市连城县。
永泰县现有1个中国历史文化名镇、2个中国历史文化名村，国家级和省级传统村落数量均为福建省之最。今年3月，永泰庄寨被列入WMF2022世界建筑遗产观察名录，目前全县已有超40座庄寨完成保护修缮工作。
