(美里12日讯) 美里警区主任亚历克森纳卡助理总监証實，美里水警於日前在陽光路拦截一辆箱形货车，并起获逾73万令吉的私烟。
水警是于本月10 日早上7时30分，在上述地点进行取缔行动时，截停该辆车子进行检查，当时司机无法出示合法文件。
据悉，这起事件被起获的物品数额逾73万令吉，其中包括车子及3150条私烟。
水警之后将司机和所有起获物品交给美里警方刑事调查红进行处理。
