（本报美里17日訊）美里八仙宫庆祝李仙师祖神诞今日在庙宇举办布施白米活动。
筹备会主席刘志民在会上发表讲话时表示，这次的白米共有1568包都是由善信及商家们慷慨的乐捐予本宫，使的这次的布施白米活动成功举办。
他说，在这之前阳厉8月30日，本宫已经分发了505包白米及300包的干粮给9个团体。而今天的白米有1118包以公开方式分发给民众，以帮助贫苦群体及弱势家庭.
他指出，該宫希望在不久的将来能够举办更多类似的活动，惠及大众。
今日一早便有许多民众到场排队等候领取白米。
