（本报美里3日讯）配合世界环境日，美里红新月会今日在该会训练中心举行捐血活动。
上述活动也获得砂拉越青统埔奕支部和美里石油妇女协会协办，并吸引许多民众踊跃前往捐血。
早上的活动共有53人行登记，37人成功捐血，并有1人登记成为器官捐献者。
美里红新月会招募捐血者工作小组主席加兰比尔星在会上也颁发感谢证书给成功的民众。
此外，成功捐血者也获得由其他协办单位颁发感谢证书及小礼物。
