Zhong Zheng Primary School Celebrates Hari Raya, Promoting Multicultural Integration

(Seria, 16th) Teachers and students of Seria Zhong Zheng Middle School's primary section recently gathered to celebrate the Hari Raya festival. The event was jointly organized by the school's Malay Language and Religious Studies departments, aiming to enhance students' understanding and respect for multiculturalism.

 The celebration featured a variety of activities, including interactive games, teacher-student dances, a Best Malay Traditional Costume Contest, and a Hari Raya choir performance, creating a lively and joyful atmosphere on site.

 After the event, Malay students specially prepared halal festival food, sharing it with classmates from different ethnic backgrounds, embodying the spirit of unity and friendship of the festival.

 In the much-anticipated "Best Malay Traditional Costume Contest," Yi Shi and Diha from Grade 5 Lotus Class stood out and won the award with their exquisite traditional attire, as judged by the Religious Studies teachers.

 The school stated that the event not only allowed students to gain a deeper understanding of Malay traditional culture but also further promoted harmonious coexistence among students and teachers of different ethnicities on campus, showcasing the unique charm of Malaysia's multicultural diversity.
