Qatari Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Mohammed said on the 9th that Qatar will not tolerate any violations of its sovereignty and reserves the right to respond to Israel.
At a press conference held in Doha, he stated that Qatar would take comprehensive measures to prevent similar incidents from happening again.
He pointed out that Qatar will continue to participate in mediation efforts for a Gaza ceasefire, but after the Israeli attack, there are currently no ongoing talks.
Qatari Foreign Ministry spokesperson Ansari on the 9th denied, in a social media post, reports that Qatar had prior knowledge of Israel's planned attack, calling such claims "completely baseless."
He said that a U.S. official only contacted the Qatari side after the explosion caused by the Israeli attack.
Qatar has played a key role in mediation efforts for a Gaza ceasefire.
Saudi Arabia Strongly Condemns
The Saudi Ministry of Foreign Affairs issued a statement condemning the Israeli attack "in the strongest terms," describing it as a "barbaric aggression" and a "blatant violation" of Qatari sovereignty.
The statement reiterated that Saudi Arabia will do its utmost to support all measures taken by Qatar to safeguard its national security and sovereignty, while calling on the international community to take concrete action to stop Israel from undermining regional security and stability.
Saudi Arabia reaffirmed its full support for Qatar and condemned the Israeli attack as a criminal act and a flagrant violation of international law and norms.
