A Chinese man traveling alone in Thailand told the police that he killed a 25-year-old Thai transgender woman in Pattaya because she refused to have sex with him. He disemboweled her and removed her organs because he wanted to "play" with her body.

According to reports by Khaosod and Bangkok Post on the 27th, the 42-year-old suspect Fu Tongyung (translated phonetic) was arrested at the airport on the 26th. He admitted to killing 25-year-old transgender woman Waranann Panracha from Nong Khai province, who had previously undergone gender reassignment surgery.

Reports state that during interrogation, the arrested suspect said through a translator that on the evening of the 25th, he met Waranann near South Pattaya Beach and exchanged WeChat contacts with her, initially believing she was born female.

Around 9 PM, Waranann contacted him. They met at his rented room and agreed to have sexual relations for 8,000 baht (1,043 RMB).

Later, Waranann refused to have sex, so he demanded half of the money back, which she refused, leading to a quarrel and physical altercation. Waranann scratched his face and kicked him off the bed.

The suspect said he later returned to the bed, sat on Waranann, and strangled her to death, then dragged her body to the bathroom, where he cut open her breasts with scissors and removed the silicone implants.

The suspect told police he felt like "playing" with the corpse, so he used scissors to cut from the throat down to the genitals and removed the heart.

Regarding the murder weapon, the suspect said it was a self-defense tool he carried around at night.

● Slept as Usual After Murder

The suspect later cleaned himself and the corpse, then went to bed and slept as usual. The next morning, he quickly booked a flight, took a motorcycle taxi to Suvarnabhumi Airport, and prepared to return to China.

When questioned about his motive for murder and any mental health issues, the suspect replied that he had never sought a diagnosis and lost control after being attacked by Waranann that night.

● Wants to Apologize to the Victim's Family

The suspect, who said he is a welder from Hubei Province and had visited Thailand three times, stated he hoped to apologize to the victim's family. He initially visited with a tour group and later made trips alone, considering Thailand a safe country.

Concerning the missing lungs of the victim, the suspect claimed it had nothing to do with him.

Pattaya Police Chief Aneek Satonyu announced to the media on the morning of the 27th that there is conclusive evidence and the suspect has confessed.

The chief pointed out that while the victim's lungs are missing, only a water bottle was found in the suspect’s bag without any organs, pending further forensics identifying evidence.
