Jisoo’s Former Sister-in-law Breaks the Silence: 'We Divorced in January Last Year'

K-pop group BLACKPINK member Jisoo (Kim Jisoo)'s older brother Kim Jung Hoon was recently subjected to explosive accusations from his wife. Woman A, his wife, accused him of long-term domestic violence, sexual assault, and psychological control after marriage. In fact, Kim Jung Hoon has been married twice. His first marriage was in 2019, and at that time BLACKPINK even attended his former sister-in-law’s wedding, leading many to confuse the two wives. Five days after the incident, the ex-wife posted on IG on the night of the 21st, stating, 'We divorced in January 2025,' officially drawing a line.

The wife who accused Kim Jung Hoon of domestic violence is the second wife. Woman A, born in 2003, is only 23 years old. Recently, due to long-term sexual and psychological abuse, her weight dropped drastically to 34kg. She had previously posted their marriage certificate and wedding rings, confirming their marriage. However, on the 21st, she suddenly deleted all of her accusatory posts, raising concerns among fans.

Because some netizens confused the first wife with the second wife, many believed Woman A’s statements were false. In fact, Kim Jung Hoon did marry once before in 2019. He and his first wife got pregnant before marriage, tied the knot in May 2019, and welcomed their eldest daughter in October of the same year.

After the domestic violence scandal, the ex-wife posted for the first time on the night of the 21st: 'We divorced in January 2025. I know nothing about what happened after that. Please refrain from speculating or leaving malicious comments about things that you haven’t confirmed. Also, thank you to those who have cared for and worried about me.' This officially draws a clear line and confirms for the first time that her marriage to Kim Jung Hoon ended long ago.

Jisoo’s Forehead Scar Was Left by Her Brother

Recently, Jisoo’s past comments have resurfaced; she frankly admitted that the scar on her forehead was left because of Kim Jung Hoon. At that time, she trusted her brother and accidentally hit her head badly, leaving a serious injury. This past livestream is now sparking discussion again, making many fans feel distressed for her.

In a 2018 livestream, Jisoo recalled that as a child, Kim Jung Hoon told her, 'If you touch the smoke from the disinfection truck, you’ll die,' and urged her to climb to the top of the playground equipment to get away. Kim Jung Hoon even said, 'Don’t worry, I’m your brother.' Because of that, she rushed upward and hit her head on a railing, causing a deep wound on her forehead. 'I was about five years old and lost a lot of blood; it was quite a serious injury.' However, after she started bleeding, her brother simply said, 'So what, hurry and run.' She recounted that she walked home covered in blood and still remembers the shocked looks on the faces of passersby. Her parents only said, 'What should we do? Hurry and wash up,' and 'There’s too much blood,' without taking her to the hospital. She reflected, 'Isn’t it odd? Whenever I got hurt as a kid, I was hardly ever taken to the hospital, so even though I’ve been hurt a lot, I never cried; I just grew up smiling.'

Additionally, Jisoo has admitted that as a child she was mocked by some relatives for her appearance, was given nicknames, and even treated as an outsider.
