Li Xiuping: Demonstrating Unity and Creativity – Charity Sale Proceeds Donated to Special Children’s Centers

(Miri, 8th) Datuk Li Xiuping, District Governor of Lions Clubs International District 308A2, stated that the “With Love Charity Sale, Lions Shine for the Future” event was entirely conceptualized and organized independently by the Shishan Lions Club, fully showcasing the unity, creativity, and spirit of service among the members.
In her speech at the charity sale yesterday morning, she said that the event was not only a sale, but also the best embodiment of community cohesion and compassion. The charity sale invited several local groups and indigenous peoples to participate, with lively booths displaying a colorful array of specialty products, creating a vibrant atmosphere.
She pointed out that all proceeds will be donated to the NYA Special Children’s Rehabilitation Center, the Bakun Special Children’s Rehabilitation Center, and other groups and communities in need. “This is a heartwarming action that demonstrates the power of public welfare and charity.”
Li Xiuping praised the Shishan Lions Club for upholding the belief of ‘taking from society, giving back to society,’ effectively implementing service within the community, and becoming a role model and source of pride.
