(Bandar Seri Begawan, 22nd) Brunei Teng Yun Temple will hold the grand celebration of Yuqing Shengzu Ziyuan Jun Lishan Laomu’s Holy Birthday on July 26th (Sunday), and sincerely invites all devotees to attend and receive the divine grace together.
On that day, the temple will respectfully invite the descent of deities and Buddhas at 9 a.m., welcome the Jade Emperor, the Three Officials, and the Five Emperors, and hold the birthday blessing ceremony for Lishan Laomu.
At 5 p.m., there will be a ceremony to reward the Five Camps’ Generals and to offer alms (for Good Brothers and Lao Da Gong) to the unseen beings.
At 7 p.m., the temple will once again respectfully invite the deities and Buddhas to descend, and send off the Jade Emperor and the Three Officials and Five Emperors, marking the perfect conclusion of the day’s celebration.
