(Kuching, 31st) In conjunction with the official launch of the Kuching Smart Parking System on tomorrow (November 1), members of the public who still hold unused parking coupons may apply for refunds before November 30, 2025.
The Kuching North City Hall (DBKU) and South Kuching City Council (MBKS) jointly announced today that refund procedures for parking coupons can be processed at the Kuching City Parking System Office, located at the ground floor of Lot 9688 & 9692, Jalan Datuk Abang Abdul Rahim.
Applicants for refunds must return any remaining coupons purchased between January 1, 2025, and October 31, 2025, and the coupons must have the following serial numbers:
20-cent coupon: AP05530001 – AP09530000
50-cent coupon: BB3426001 – BB3506000
80-cent coupon: CB0750001 – CB0780000
The statement urges the public to complete refund procedures as early as possible to avoid congestion close to the deadline.
The new system will fully replace the traditional scratch-and-use coupons with a digital parking platform, enhancing user convenience, strengthening enforcement efficiency, and aligning with the "Smart and Sustainable City" development direction by reducing paper use and promoting environmental protection.
