BTOB's Variety Skills Shine, Eunkwang's "Broken English" Entertains Fans

The South Korean boy band "BTOB" returned to Malaysia after 7 years, and on the 19th held a fan meeting "3,2,1 GO! MELympic" at Zepp KL with an Olympic theme that combined fun competitions and performances. The BTOB members were fully engaged throughout, displaying a great sense of variety, with the entire evening's performance being filled with laughter and surprises. The humorous "Eunkwang-style English" of leader Eunkwang particularly amused fans in the audience, causing the crowd to laugh continuously.

BTOB also delighted fans not only by interacting closely with the audience twice, learning Malay, singing a cappella, but also "promising" to return soon!

This fan meeting, which combined fun competitions and music, saw the four members Eunkwang, Minhyuk, Hyunsik, and Peniel enter the stage from the audience seats dressed in sportswear, instantly causing "Melody" (fan nickname) to scream with excitement. Later, all four members held cheering light sticks and sang "Saya Anak Malaysia" together with Melody, creating a very joyous atmosphere!

The interaction among the four members was very interesting and hilarious, earning full marks for variety sense. During a funny act of being cute, "Comedian King" Eunkwang let loose, causing the entire audience to scream wildly! The four even quickly learned and used Malay words like "Abang" and "Adik", and during casual chats with fans, they each showed sincerity, frequently using Malay phrases like "Jom", "Mantap", "Janji" to interact with fans. The four also almost exclusively used English to interact, especially leader Eunkwang’s “Eunkwang-style English” which kept the entire venue laughing. Not only was his "Give Up" gag repeatedly mentioned, but his limited or incorrect use of English, like "Heart", "Hurt", "Human Life no Practice", caused continuous laughter and even Peniel couldn't help but laugh, saying: "I need to translate his English to Korean to understand!"

In addition to the game segment, the beautiful voices of BTOB were also shown, performing a series of songs including "Say Yes", "Starry Night", "Heaven", "Miss You", "Only One For You", "Missing You", "Beep Beep", "Love Today", "Hi Beautiful" and "Beautiful To Me". They also promised to perform the full version of ‘Pray (I‘ll Be Your Man)’ next time.

With a slightly uncomfortable throat, Hyunsik thanked everyone for attending and supporting them, saying: “Although my voice isn't perfect today, your love makes everything perfect.” After saying this, he pampered the fans with a song, triggering cheers across the venue.

During the encore, the four members made another entrance from the audience seats, performing amidst the fans. They became very emotional when they saw a surprise video prepared by the fans during the group photo session, and then took out their own phones to film a Reel, asking the fans to shout together. At the end of the event, they called out "Janji" to promise to return and meet everyone again, with Hyunsik even suggesting: “We might come twice a year!” Eunkwang shouted enthusiastically: “We will never forget today!”
