Miss/Mr Asia (Malaysia Division) Top 8 Showcase All-Round Charisma

The official list of the Top 8 finalists for the 2025 Miss Asia & Mr Asia Pageant (Malaysia Division) has been revealed! The 16 shortlisted female and male contestants recently made their debut appearance together at the Suria KLCC TGV in Kuala Lumpur, setting the scene abuzz. This year’s competition carries the theme “Intellectual Flourish, Born for Beauty”, aiming to let contestants showcase their all-round charm, and to provide a platform to step onto the international stage.
The Top 8 female contestants are: Qiu Yifan (23/Johor), Yang Shanyu (21/Negeri Sembilan), Cai Ruixuan (22/student), Wu Xiuhuan (25/Kuala Lumpur), Wu Peiyan (26/Selangor), Wen Yujie (21/Kuala Lumpur), Luo Xinyan (27/Kedah), and Lin Ziqing (19/Pahang).

The Top 8 male contestants are: Li Minyi (20/Penang), Xiao Wenle (23/Selangor), Zhu Jianlin (24/Perak), Zhuang Wenze (23/Selangor), Zheng Yihuan (32/Kuala Lumpur), Lin Chenzhong (35/Johor), Lin Yetong (35/Kuala Lumpur), and Long Jieyang (33/Selangor).

ATV Executive Director Leong Wai Peng remarked in his speech that Asia Television has long been devoted to promoting Sino-Malaysian cultural exchange and the development of the entertainment industry. Bringing this event to Malaysia not only provides young people the chance to showcase themselves, but also builds a cooperative platform for international brands and businesses, further enhancing Malaysia’s influence in the global fashion and entertainment scene.

He specifically mentioned that last year’s Miss Asia Southeast Asia division champion, Zhong Xintong, won the runner-up title at the global finals recently held in Hainan, China, bringing honor to the Malaysia division. This not only reflects the prowess of local contestants, but also proves the international competitiveness of the event. Past Miss Asia contestants have also been regularly invited to participate in overseas cultural and tourism promotions, including promoting important Chinese cities like Harbin, becoming a dazzling sight in the drive for China-Malaysia cultural exchange.
Guests in attendance included TGV Cinemas Chief Operations Officer Tan Chang Tat, event’s head judge Soo Wincci, 2024 Miss Asia (Southeast Asia Division) champion Zhong Xintong, and 2024 Mr Asia runner-up Li Haoxuan.
The 36th Miss Asia and Mr Asia Pageant (Malaysia Division) Grand Final will be held on October 25 (Saturday) at Setia Alam Eco City, Selangor, maintaining its usual grandeur with 200 banquet tables, expected to attract around 2,000 distinguished guests to witness the extravaganza.
