That night, Zhang Bichen even rarely revealed her true feelings on stage, mentioning her role as a daughter’s mother. Although Malaysian fans did not get to hear "Nian Lun", previously embroiled in controversy over its original singer, they were treated to more unique and exclusive perks, instantly infusing the stage with warmth and emotion.

China’s "OST Queen" Zhang Bichen finally held her first solo concert in Malaysia on the night of the 12th at Bukit Jalil’s Axiata Arena — the "Epic of Love" 2025 Symphony Limited Concert. Not only did she sincerely adjust her setlist, but also changed into different outfits and brought exclusive surprises for the Malaysian audience, enchanting all the Chenxi (as her fans are known).

Zhang Bichen keenly sensed Malaysian audiences’ love for costume dramas, and for the group sing-along session, replaced the usual "Don’t Forget I Love You" with the ending song "Liang Liang" from the 2017 hit series "Eternal Love" (Three Lives, Three Worlds, Ten Miles of Peach Blossom), igniting the atmosphere by singing it together with the whole audience. She recalled that "Liang Liang" brought her much greater recognition back then and was very significant for her career. That’s why she chose to sing it on the Malaysian stage, hoping to inspire everyone and spread positive energy. This moment also reminded people of the tragic recent death by falling of Yu Menglong, an actor from "Eternal Love".

Another big surprise at the concert was Zhang Bichen’s cover of Firdhaus’s song "Divorce in the Republic of Ghana". She previously performed it with Yang Kun, leaving many in tears, and this time she performed both the male and female parts herself. When she sang "Do you still love me?", fans responded with a resounding "Love!", warming her heart. In addition, when Malaysian media visited Hong Kong for an interview on June 28, they requested the drama original song "Later" (Wan Dian) from "Nanhong" backstage. Though Zhang Bichen has visited Malaysia many times for variety shows, this marked her first concert in Malaysia, and she opened with two shows. At the concert, Zhang Bichen also shared heartfelt thoughts about family and life: “Besides being singer Zhang Bichen, I am also my parents’ daughter and my child’s mother.” She admitted she used to spend most of her time working, but now cherishes the time spent with family even more. She confided to fans, “Since last year, I noticed everyone has been waiting and I don’t want you to wait too long. In my limited singing career, I hope to appear as much as I can while I can, so everyone can be happy every day.” Her advice to fans was to bravely be the masters of their own lives: “As long as you’re happy, stay healthy, and give more companionship — that’s enough.”
