Huang Nengxi: All Huangs Are One Family – Miri Jiangxia Huang Clan Committee Inauguration

(Miri, 1st) Chairman of the Miri Jiangxia Huang Clan Association, Huang Nengxi, stated that all Huangs are one family—their blood ties are an unbreakable bond, and the homeland brings deep affection for everyone. Therefore, the association’s banner should become even brighter through inheritance and innovation.

“In this new year, let us be high-spirited like galloping horses, united in heart and mind, helping one another. I would like to extend my sincere New Year’s greetings to all members and clansmen who have long cared for and supported the development of our association.”

He said that the just-passed year of Yisi was a year of continuing the past and forging ahead. With the joint efforts of all committee members and members, the association, adhering to the purpose of promoting kinship and unity among the clan, actively advanced various association affairs.

Huang Nengxi made these remarks last night while attending the association's “Galloping Horses” New Year Gala cum inauguration ceremony for the 21st-term committee, youth group, women’s group, the 6th-term senior group, and the second Huang Clan Ancestral Hall Committee. Many tables were set at the event, with more than 370 clansmen joyfully gathering to celebrate the Spring Festival and to witness the important moment of the new committee’s inauguration.

He pointed out that last year, the association successfully held the Chinese New Year Gala, ancestral worship in spring and winter, and birthday parties for senior members, and continued to award scholarships to members’ children with excellent academic performances as well as organizing elders’ appreciation activities. These efforts not only deepened the bonds among the clansmen, but also enabled the tradition of the Huang family’s unity to continue. He expressed gratitude to the previous committee for their hard work and selfless dedication, which laid a solid foundation for the association.

On another note, lifetime honorary president and association advisor Huang Hanwen pointed out that after the swearing-in ceremony, the new leadership team and key group members have officially received the baton.

He said that this is not only an honor, but also a weighty responsibility and a mark of trust. The committee, as the association’s core, needs foresight and holistic planning; the youth group represents the future and vitality and should be bold in innovation and proactive; the women’s group is the warm backbone of the association, and should demonstrate meticulousness and resilience; the senior group is a precious asset, shouldering the mission of transmitting experience and wisdom; the Huang Clan Ancestral Hall Committee has the sacred duty of honoring our ancestors and inheriting our culture.

He is confident that under Chairman Huang Nengxi’s leadership, all committee members will work in unity and advance the association’s affairs to a new level.

He said that the association, as the spiritual home and important bond of the clan, under the efforts of past committees and groups, has always upheld the mission of promoting kinship and glorifying ancestral virtue, achieving remarkable results in uniting clansmen, serving the community, and passing on culture, thus building a strong sense of cohesion in the association.

Additionally, organizing committee chairman Huang Yanyu said that the Chinese New Year banquet was especially meaningful—as the horse enters and the snake departs, it is also a major occasion for clansmen to reunite and to send blessings to fellow clansmen and friends.
