KUCHING: The man believed to have fallen from the third floor of the Kuching International Airport (KIA) yesterday has been admitted to the Sarawak General Hospital (SGH) in a serious condition.
Kuching district police chief ACP Alexson Naga Chabu said the Sungai Maong police were alerted to the incident at 3 pm and went to the scene, but the man had already been taken to the hospital.
“It was also found that the 47-year-old man is foreign national and is married to a Malaysian citizen,” he said in a statement.
Alexson urged the public with information about the incident to contact Sungai Maong police station chief Inspector Awang Ramzi Awang Junaidi at 019-8444123, the Sungai Maong Police Station at 082-420469, or to approach the nearest police station.
He also advised the public not to speculate on the incident out of respect for the man’s family.
