Prince Hj Sufri Bolkiah Participates in Aichi-Nagoya Asian Games Fun Run

(Bandar Seri Begawan, 17th) The Chairman of Brunei's National Olympic Council, Prince Hj Sufri Bolkiah, recently participated with 500 contestants in the 2026 Aichi-Nagoya Asian Games Fun Run held near the Empire Hotel.

During the event, Prince Hj Sufri Bolkiah joined participants in warm-up exercises, then co-hosted the starting whistle ceremony for the 2.8 km men's and women's open categories, and 1.4 km races in categories for boys and girls under 12, disabled participants, senior men and women, and seminar representatives, along with Mikako Kotani, Honorary Executive Director of the Olympic Council of Asia, and Yasuhiro, a representative of the host Japanese Aichi Prefecture Nagoya Asian Games Committee. The scene was festive.

All participants received participation certificates, and the top ten finishers were awarded medals presented by members of the Executive Committee of the Olympic Council of Asia. The 20th Asian Games are scheduled to be held from September 19 to October 4, 2026, in Aichi Prefecture, Nagoya, Japan.
