(Bandar Seri Begawan, 14th) Princess Azimah and her husband Pengiran Muda Bahar attended the Hari Raya event held at the Yayasan Centre. The Minister of Health, Dato Isham, and his wife, as well as the Minister of Culture, Youth and Sports, Dato Nazmi, and his wife, also attended the event.
Accompanying them were members of the diplomatic corps, senior government officials, Yayasan Centre's board members, trustees, and others. The event was hosted by Dr. Muralee of Premier Dental and Orthodontics Centre and Sumaya.
The two doctors also donated 10,000 ($) to the Yayasan Centre as their personal contribution to the welfare of the centre's students. Princess Azimah received the donation on their behalf, and the two doctors have been donating for the third consecutive year.
Dr. Muralee stated that the spirit of Hari Raya is about cherishing time with family and community, and caring for the disadvantaged. It reminds us that we all have a responsibility to help those less fortunate and extend a helping hand to those in need.
He added that donating to causes you care about not only benefits the charitable organizations themselves but also gives you a great return and a positive impact on your life.
“Charitable giving can enhance personal values and shape character. Being able to improve others’ lives is an honor and also a responsibility.”
The students of the Yayasan Centre also received gift bags and green envelopes, with games and fun activities prepared by the students.
