(Bandar Seri Begawan, 25th) In order to deepen regional economic and trade cooperation, the Chinese Chamber of Commerce in Bandar Seri Begawan hosted a dinner last night at the Likun Hotel to warmly welcome the visiting trade delegation from Thailand and facilitate interactions with local business figures.
The guest of honor at the dinner was Ms. Boosara Kanchanalai, the Ambassador of Thailand to Brunei, who also led the delegation to attend this business visit.
The Thai delegation consisted of 20 members, including several business elites and industry leaders such as Mr. Vathit, Vice Chairman of the Federation of Thai Industries and President of Saha Pathana Pibul Public Company Limited; Mr. Naka, Chairman of the Health & Wellness Cluster and CEO of CoviKet International Co., Ltd.; Mr. Chalong, Vice Chairman of the Thai-Malaysian Chamber of Commerce and Senior Executive Advisor of CPRAM Co., Ltd.; Mr. Thanarot, Chairman of the Federation of Thai Industries, Nakhon Si Thammarat Province and seafood exporter; and Mr. Surachai, Chairman of “Thai Taste Heaven International Co.”, a coconut water brand from Thailand, among others.
This visit is part of a regional business mission titled “Exploring Opportunities for Trade and Investment Channels in Malaysia and Brunei”, aiming to strengthen trade and investment ties among Thailand, Malaysia, and Brunei, especially seeking collaboration opportunities in sectors such as food and beverage, medical equipment, energy, petrochemicals, and more.
During their stay in Brunei, the delegation arranged a number of business meetings and field visits, actively seeking local partners and exploring cross-border trade potential, further demonstrating the importance of promoting economic integration within the ASEAN region.
