Ken Chu Kicked Out of F4, Ashin Joins as the 'Fourth Member'

The Taiwanese boy band F4, after their recent dream reunion at Taiwan's top band Mayday’s concert, announced a comeback with new releases and a tour. However, rumors have emerged that member Ken Chu was 'kicked out' for being 'uncontrollable', allegedly leaking internal matters during a livestream. The remaining three members, Jerry Yan, Vic Chou, and Vanness Wu, will return to the music scene as F3. Recently, concert posters and approval documents appeared online, indicating that F3 will hold the “F☆FOREVER: City of Stars Tour Concert” at Shanghai’s Mercedes-Benz Arena from December 19th to 22nd, unexpectedly revealing the addition of a 'Fourth Member.'

The staff list released along with the approval also shows a total of 26 performers on stage. Fans have noticed that apart from F3, Mayday's Ashin is also listed. Previously, F3’s agency B’in Music officially confirmed that Ashin is the chief planner for the F3 concert and producer for the album’s music. With the approval documents made public, it’s now certain Ashin will take the stage and perform with the three members, becoming the biggest surprise for fans, who jokingly call it a new 'M1+F3' combo. Other fans quipped, 'The ☆ in F☆ actually stands for Mayday.'

B’in Music confirmed that Ashin will appear at the Shanghai opening stop, saying: “The four will sing the new song together, so stay tuned!” They further revealed that during the production of the trio’s new music and planning for the concert, the team gradually built chemistry through creativity and rehearsals. Coupled with Ashin’s experience in music and stage production, this led to the co-performance at the 'F☆FOREVER: City of Stars Tour Concert.'
