(Kuala Belait, 25th) The Brunei Chong Zheng Hakka Association has scheduled the Bing Wu Year New Lion Blessing Ceremony on the evening of the 30th of this month (Friday) at 7:30 PM, to be held at the Seria New Village Mutual Aid Society Basketball Court. The public is warmly invited to participate. Thank you!
At the same time, as in previous years, the association will pay New Year's visits to those with appointments and members on the first and second days of the Lunar New Year (February 17 and 18) from 8 AM to 5:30 PM.
According to the Ministry of Home Affairs, it has approved the association's application to hold a Chinese New Year lion dance fundraising event. The association will be able to send the auspicious lions to members for New Year's greetings on the first day, while the second day depends on the start of Ramadan. If Ramadan begins on February 19, two days are permitted, i.e. February 17 and 18.
